Day 01: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, our Serengeti Budget Mobile Camping Safari will start at Lake Manyara National Park. The captivating park is situated at the foot of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. The park has an extensive amount of species due to the various distinctive habitats. The shores of Lake Manyara are obscured with the pink hues of the flamingo. The park is home to over three hundred and fifty bird species and exotic birds often migrate to this sanctuary. You can expect to see the Cape clawless otter, buffalo, elephants, Egyptian mongoose, hippos, giraffes, impalas, and Lake Manyara National Park has the largest concentration of baboons in the world. We will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and in the afternoon we will proceed to our Campsite,  comprehensive camping facilities are available.

Day 02: Serengeti National Park.

Early morning depart to Serengeti National Park. The route we travel happens to pass the crater rim – there is a small prospect of spotting some game. The Serengeti is currently categorised as one of the seven natural wonders of Africa. We will stop for an enticing picnic lunch on a kopje (rock outcropping). After lunch, your game drive will venture further into the Serengeti to complete the tour for the day. The Serengeti Camp will ensure that you are provided with comprehensive camping facilities.

Day 03: Full day Serengeti National Park.

Spend a full day in Serengeti for game drives, return to the camp for hot lunch then relaxation before departing for an afternoon game drive/you can depart with a picnic lunch box for a full day game drive.

Day 04: Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

After breakfast, Serengeti National Park for game drives, with picnic lunch box en-route game drive to Ngorongoro Crater Rim for dinner and overnight at Simba Campsite.

Day 05: Ngorongoro Crater Tour

Drive to Ngorongoro Crater and descend inside the crater for game drives with picnic lunch boxes. The crater walls provide a natural sanctuary for the animals, which means there is plenty to see: lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and leopards. The only animal you won’t see here is a giraffe, whose long legs are unable to cope with the steeps sides of the crater. In the late afternoon, we travel back to our campsite at Lake Manyara, Nsya Campsite

Day 06: Tarangire National park.

After breakfast we drive to Tarangire Park for game viewing, here you may see a large number of elephants, zebras, migrating wildebeest, baboons, baobab trees, buffalos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, antelopes, and different other wild animals, keep enjoying the game drive until late afternoon we drive back to Arusha

7 Days Serengeti Western corridor Wildebeest Migration, tours, holidays, and travel packages, have been designed specifically to focus on and to increase your chance to see the great Serengeti wildebeest migration. We have designed the program to include both the Seronera area (central Serengeti National Park) and the Western corridor (western Serengeti National Park) where the majority of the wildebeest migration can normally be found from May to July pausing to gather momentum before crossing the crocodile-rich waters of the Grumeti River.   The itinerary also includes Tarangire National park (Home of Elephants) a visit to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara National park famous for Tree climbing Lion.

Program Description.

Day 1: Arrive In Tanzania.

A staff member of Kilipeak Adventure will pick you up from the Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). From here you will be driven to your hotel in Masailand Safari Lodge, which is beautifully located on the coffee farms and is a perfect place to prepare for your 7 Days Serengeti Western corridor Wildebeest Migration safari.
We will gather in the hotel for a pre-safari briefing.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park.

Our 7 Days Serengeti Western corridor Wildebeest Migration tours start- we drive to Tarangire National Park, for excellent game viewing. Tarangire is a small park that offers some excellent sights. Generally, in the dry seasons, Tarangire comes alive as wildlife and birdlife congregate on the Tarangire River, which is a permanent source of water. We spend the night in our lodge beautifully set inside the park with stunning views and a unique atmosphere. In the late afternoon, we make a journey from the park to our Hotel in Karatu.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park – Central Serengeti

After breakfast we will head towards the Serengeti National Park, leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. We enjoy a game drive en route to our Special Tented Camp.

Day 4: Serengeti  – Werstern Corridor

After breakfast, we head towards the western reaches of the Serengeti National Park, also known as the Western Corridor. We will do a game drive en-route from the Seronera area to the Western Corridor area. The wildebeest migration can normally be found in the Western Corridor area end of April, May, and June, depending on rainfall patterns. Also, the beauty of the landscape stretching without end beneath an infinite sky o Serengeti western safari.

Day 5: Serengeti Western Corridor –  Ngorongoro Area

After breakfast enjoys a half-day game drive in the Western Corridor. The key feature in the Western Corridor is the Grumeti and Mbalageti Rivers, running almost parallel to each other, each supporting a band of evergreen forests. The rivers sustain a permanent game population of zebra, wildebeest, all the predators, and birdlife. It is also possible to find large pods of hippos and huge crocodiles in the Grumeti River. The wildebeest normally gather around waterholes mid morning in such densities, that they look like ants swarming around a nest. Later afternoon drive back to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Tour

Early morning we drive to the final destination of this epic safari – Ngorongoro crater by driving around the crater rim. Finally, we descend the 600 high walls of the Ngorongoro Crater to the floor of the Crater for a full day of game drives. The crater walls provide a natural sanctuary for the animals, which means there is plenty to see: lions, elephants, buffalo, rhino, and leopards (if you are lucky). The only animal you won’t see here is a giraffe, whose long legs are unable to cope with the steep sides of the crater. After another memorable safari, we drive back to Arusha

Day 3: Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

We will begin our day with an early morning game drive in central Serengeti after lunch we will depart to the Ngorongoro Conservation area. We will stopover at Olduvai Gorge, boasting a history dating back to the dawn of time. It was here, that the anthropologist Drs. Lois and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of ‘Nutcracker Man’ and ‘Handy Man’, both very significant links in the chain of human evolution Late afternoon transfer to  Simba Campsite where you will have dinner and overnight

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater.

After early breakfast, we depart for Ngorongoro Crater passing through the forested slopes of the Ngorongoro Crater Highlands before arriving at the rim of the crater…We’ll descend into the crater which is one of the most densely crowded game areas in the world, home to nearly 40,000 animals…Here we’ll have a good chance of seeing the big five: lion, leopard, rare Black Rhino, buffalo and elephants…Along with the big five animals; we will also see herds of wildebeest, zebra, and Thomson’s gazelle…After a picnic lunch, we’ll continue our game drive then depart the crater and arrive at our accommodations just at Lake Manyara national park gate at Migombani  Campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 5. Lake Manyara National Park

We depart today for Tarangire Park with packed lunch, passing through open plains south of Arusha town…During the dry season from May to October Tarangire has the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem and its wetlands in the southeast portion of the park support over 300 varieties of birds…With fewer tourists than other parks, Tarangire’s rolling savannah dotted with thousands of baobab and acacia trees offers a great chance to enjoy Africa’s wilderness and solitude. You will have a full day game drive, dinner, and overnight Migombani Campsite or Similar Campsite.

Day 2. Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater tour

These 2 days of Tanzania Camping safari take you to the most celebrated UNESCO world heritage area in Tanzania; the Ngorongoro Crater as well as Tarangire National Park a world-famous safari park for its unusual herds of elephants.

The Tarangire national park and Ngorongoro Crater are not very far from each other and with a range of accommodations having set up at Karatu (just outside the Ngorongoro Conservation), you can do a very rewarding safari in Tanzania in just 2 days and one night stay at one of the many campsites found around Karatu area or Lake Manyara areas which are actually midway between the two wildlife areas.

Day 0: Arrival day

Day 1: Tarangire National Park

Depart early after breakfast from Arusha you will drive across a beautiful and scenic Masai Steppe to Makuyuni junction and take left along the Arusha – towards Tarangire National Park. Arrive at the park’s gate at Tarangire and after your driver has sorted out the paperwork you start game drives almost straight away from the gate in a bid to see as many animals and birds a possible. Your professional safari guide will take you to the best wildlife-spotting areas of the park including the Tarangire River which is a permanent river that works as a bloodline for the park ensuring animals flock the river banks in search of water throughout the year. You expect to see elephants, elands, wildebeests, buffaloes, zebras, gerenuks, giraffes, and a lot of birds. Lunch will be taken at one of the picnic sites. Later in the afternoon, you will drive out of the park and your guide will take you to Karatu in the Ngorongoro Highlands for dinner and overnight at Campsite. Overnight at Migombani Campsite or similar Campsite.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, your 2 days Tanzania Camping safari will continue as we take you to the Ngorongoro crater. You will start by driving to the gate for check-in and afterward drive up to the crater rim, stop for some nice view & pictures at the Crater viewpoint before ascending 600 meters steep to the crater floor for a wonderful game viewing. The unfolded caldera is sometimes referred to as the 8th wonder of the world & it is home to a larger number of animal species. Yearly adequate water supply & fodders in the crater supports a large number of wildlife which include herds of wildebeest, buffalo, African elephant, zebra, eland, hippos, gazelle & the rare black rhino.

Ngorongoro Crater is also home to a dense population of predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals, birds are abundant from some flocks of flamingos at Lake Magadi, pelicans, Ibises, ostrich, goose & other county birds. Packed lunch will be served on the crater floor. Late afternoon drives out & back to Arusha where your safari ends.
